Frank Michael “Mike” Lund Jr., age 70, of Janesville died at his home on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. He was born on April 26, 1946 in Highland Park, IL, the son of Frank Sr. and Eleanor (Moldaner) Lund. Mike graduated from Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda, FL and attended Edison Junior College. He was a U. S. Navy veteran. He owned and operated a restaurant in Florida and later worked in the telecommunications field. After moving to Wisconsin he was employed by Dana Corporation and prior to retiring was self employed in internet sales.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy (Linda) Lund of Janesville, Jeffery Lund of Punta Gorda, FL, four grandchildren, Zachary, Christian, Mariah and Noah Lund, one sister, Lee (Jack) Eastman of Naperville, IL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Lund.
A visitation will be held at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 2 to 3 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m. officiated by Rev. Gary Shields. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greyhound Rescue program or A S P C A. The family is being assisted by Henke-Clarson Funeral Home (608-741-1713).
